Oh man treating teenagers like they’re not smart is one of my biggest ones. Though I can understand if another character is treating them like that, but the author doing it is weird

My 30 year old MC actively tries to be like everyone else, even though she isn’t, because I hate the “not like other girls” trope. She is often punished with food, but she resists it and she loves working out (she has super strength, so it’s not a surprise that she likes to 😂😂😂.) Most importantly, she treats her teenage nieces like a human with thoughts and opinions and even stands up for their intelligence because I’m so sick of kids being treated like fools.
