They insulted my country just because I’m Iranian, and they said things that made me feel like I didn’t belong there at all. The girls in the bathroom made fun of my accent, and when they realized I heard everything, instead of apologizing, they just laughed and said “oh don’t be upset” in a mocking way. My teacher almost tried to kick me out just because I said one word in Farsi to my friend. I had no friends except one girl who was Iranian like me. Everyone hated me and talked behind my back.
