They also want Christian Classical Education. Go to the Turning Point website, look at resources, look at TP association affiliated schools. Abeka & Bob Jones Science curriculum are just a couple curricula listed on the schools websites

I live in Boise and volunteer at the school my nieces go to. I want to preface my comment to say that the staff and teachers I've worked with are absolutely amazing and I hope that that is the case more often than not. But I also am not surprised by your post. Google "everybody is welcome sign" in West Ada County from this spring. It's not just private education anymore.

If you do want an example of how much this type of education might cost, look into Veritas Scholars Academy; they have individual course costs listed publicly. Speaking from experience, their curriculum has some truly terrible material and is extremely demanding. I know alumni who burnt out entirely in high school.

Hi! PhD student in Humanities/Classical Education, and I’m so glad you’re talking about this right now. I’m actually working on a paper that I’m hoping to publish to argue against the solely-Western focus that some branches of classical Ed (ACCS), and advocate for the inclusion of philosophy, history, literature, etc. from the global East (and I’d love to include the global South, as well…but im having a harder time finding stuff for that).
