I was playing high school football between 2005-2010. My high school team doctor would load us up with painkillers to keep us playing. Especially if we were starters

Ibuprofen is not a pain killer. It’s an NSAID. He should have been taking pain killers instead of ibuprofen but the stigma around pain killers means they probably wouldn’t prescribe him any. This is the story if you’re telling it correctly.

Jeff, disabled vet here. I take Motrin 4-5 times a day plus one or two of other pain killers. Several knee surgeries and broken back the daily pain is way too much. It’s hard to live when walking is a struggle

20 ibuprofen a day? They were poisoning him while also killing his liver and kidneys. Those doctors should lose their licenses. He deserved far more tha Ibuprofen if they were giving him that much a day. Why weren’t they giving him something else? This is egregious!

Same thing in the military. Motrin and Ibuprofen is given to use like candy. Our pain is not well managed. It also contributed to the higher level of veterans who are on hard drugs years after getting out ofnthe military..

It is so barbaric. My friends Dad was a big NFL player. The NFL pays him monthly as he has a CTE claim. I don’t think people realize any of this. The whole sport is just wrong. Thank you for shedding light here ✨✨✨

Agreed but one mistake: you don’t see “any nfl player with CTE talking about it” cus CTE can not be diagnosed until after death and typically ghosts don’t do much public speaking
