controversial take I don't think black face is that big of a deal if it's being used to more accurately represent a character for cosplay I also wouldn't care if some black person did white face if they were cosplaying a white character like you aren't pretending to be black if you put black face on for cosplay you're dressing as a character so I don't see why it's an issue
