*As requested, with no music*. I don’t TikTok. I don’t even know if I’m doing this right. I’m just a tired Gen X mom of two kids — but last night I saw kindness in the next generation that made me believe we’re going to be okay. And I’m really hoping Manon gets this thank you. Some moments are small. And some moments shift the ground under your feet. Last night, we took my 11-year-old daughter and her best friend to the KATSEYE concert. After the show, we wandered to the back, just hoping to catch a glimpse of a tour bus. Somehow… we walked right into their fan meet-up. My daughter waited in the cold for well over an hour, anxious, hopeful, determined. She and her friend were two of the only little kids in the crowd, and honestly… some of the adults were rough. Twice their size. Pushing past them. Stepping over them. Trying to get closer. But my daughter stood her ground. She didn’t give up. She was brave. And every few seconds, she checked to make sure her anxious best friend was okay. Then the moment happened. She met Manon. And Manon didn’t rush past her. She didn’t overlook her. She stopped. She looked her in the eyes. She listened. She hugged her, warmly, gently, and she stayed fully in that moment. She made her feel seen. She made her feel like she mattered. My daughter struggles with extreme anxiety and panic attacks, especially in crowds, and she’s been bullied more times than I can count. But sometimes a single second can rewrite an entire chapter of someone’s life. And that’s what this felt like. So if this somehow reaches you, Manon, thank you. Thank you for being gentle in a world that isn’t always kind. Thank you for seeing a kid who desperately needed to be seen. Thank you for being the kind of role model young girls need. You didn’t just sign an autograph or take a picture. You gave her confidence. You brought her calm in the middle of chaos. You gave her a moment she will never forget. For that, I am forever grateful. And a huge thank you to KATSEYE’s security team. When they noticed kids being pushed aside, they stepped in. They protected them. They made sure they met every single member of the group.#KATSEYE #ManonKATSEYE #KATSEYEFans #KATSEYEMoment #KATSEYEDallas @meret manon @KATSEYE
