@preemiehood: @heynicumamas - To our NICU teams who held our babies when we couldn’t… thank you. 💜 For being the steady hands in a world we never expected to enter. For the way you quietly loved our tiny fighters in the hours we weren’t able to be there. For every soft whisper, every gentle reposition, every “they did so good today” that held our exhausted hearts together. Prematurity is something no parent prepares for. The NICU becomes a place where time moves differently… where fear and hope sit side by side… where we learn a new kind of strength we never asked for. And in the middle of that overwhelming, sacred space — there are nurses and a NICU team who become our lifelines. Who see our babies not as diagnoses, but as miracles. Who celebrate every breath, every gram, every step forward. Who care for them with a tenderness that stays with us long after we leave those hospital doors. This Prematurity Awareness Month, we honor them — The ones who loved our babies when our arms were empty. The ones who cared for them in the fragile hours of the night. The ones who gave us hope when we felt lost. To every NICU nurse and team member : thank you for loving our tiny miracles like they mattered. Because they do. More than words can ever say. 💜 #PrematurityAwarenessMonth #NICU #NICUMom #NICUBaby
