people comparing the specs of this box to a machine running WINDOWS is bonkers to me. Steam OS isn't windows. it doesn't have the same overhead. this will run fine

I want to love the idea because a cheap, accessible PC is amazing. But please, correct me if I'm wrong: for the average user it's just a PC that can't run as a PC - so is just a console - but it isn't as good as a new gen console (doesn't run 4k well, which matters when most TVs (where consoles are kept) are 4k now) - and yet is more expensive? no?
