@sarasparkypark: A high-protein, low-carb meal that comes together in under 20 minutes!! #Recipe Simple Mille-Feuille Nabe 🥬 Ingredients (3–4 servings): 1 small napa cabbage (I used 3/4 of one) 1 lb thinly sliced beef or pork Optional center: mushrooms or veggies Broth: 4 cups beef bone broth Soy sauce — 1 tbsp if using salted broth, 2 tbsp if unsalted 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 tbsp fish sauce (optional, extra umami) Dash of pepper 🍲 Instructions: Prep the cabbage – Wash, separate leaves, and trim thick ends. Build the layers – Stack cabbage → meat → cabbage → meat (I ended up making 2 stacks with 7 layers each ). Slice & arrange – Cut into 2–3 inch bundles and tightly pack them around the pot*, starting from the outer edge. Add mushrooms or veggies to the center if using. Make the broth – Mix bone broth, soy sauce, garlic, and fish sauce. Pour around the bundles. Simmer – Bring to a gentle simmer on medium heat, then skim the foam for a cleaner broth (I prefer this but you can skip if you don’t care!). Cook – Reduce to medium-low, cover, and cook ~10 minutes, until cabbage is soft and meat is cooked through. Finish & serve – The broth should taste clean and light, yet still rich and comforting. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce (ponzu, soy sauce with chili, goma dare, chili crisp, or whatever you love) or a side of kimchi! *Note: Looks prettiest in a low-rise pot that matches the height of the cabbage stacks — but a regular pot works perfectly too!

we love this dinner! it’s on the normal rotation. I add spinach at the end for extra pop of color & im too lazy to layer, but it doesn’t matter to my family 😆
