She doesn’t speak unless she’s confident that she’s right. If she’s not sure then she won’t say anything. She’s not someone who can risk being wrong. If she’s not confident she just assumes the other person must know better than her.

I was either met with “duh we know” or “how dare you point that out to me as if I didn’t already know” or “I was trying to do that stop correcting me” so I just stopped pointing things out and now I’m met with “why didn’t you say anything”

I do this too but it's a learned behavior from trauma for the same reasons you started. People telling you you're wrong so you always second guess yourself
