الليله مسافر... 💜🦋#♡محمد_الفاتح♡
Before you start calling yourself a “vocalist, a singer, a worshipper,” come closer let’s reason together. Because the truth is that it’s not everyone holding a mic that’s a singer, vocalist, or a worshipper. Some people are just noise generators with confidence! But if you truly want to grow and sound like someone heaven recognizes, these👇 five habits are your golden keys. Sit well, drink water, and let’s talk. 1️⃣. The Habit of Keeping Your Spirit Fresh You can’t sing powerful songs with a tired soul. If you’re always moody, stressed, or comparing yourself to others, your voice will sound like it’s carrying a burden. Fast and Pray more. Study your Bible. Rest well. Eat right. When your spirit is alive, your voice will sparkle like fresh morning dew. Because singing is not just about sound, it’s spirit meeting sound. A good voice without the anointing is useless! 2⃣. The Habit of Consistent Vocal Practice Let’s be honest, many people only warm up their voice on Sunday morning while brushing their teeth! Then when they go off-key during worship, they start rebuking “spiritual interference" and the keyboardist! Dear off-key singer, it’s not warfare; it’s unpreparedness! Even your voice gets angry when you abandon it all week. Practice daily, even if it’s humming, lip trills, or scales. Sing in the shower, in traffic, while cooking… just don’t disturb the neighbors too much! Practice with purpose. 👉 Remember: If you don’t train your voice, it will embarrass you publicly, even if it loves you privately. Anointing without skill is like fire without direction, powerful, but potentially destructive. Anointing without skill is noise without melody, zeal without excellence, and passion without precision. Apart from being anointed, be skillful. 3⃣. The Habit of Listening Deeply Listening to music is not just about shouting “Ah this song is sweet!” or doing air riffs in your room! A real minister listens with detective ears: 🎧 “What breath control did they use there?” 🎧 “Why does this harmony feel like heaven?” 🎧 “What vocal technique does this singer apply there?” 🎧 “What am I missing in this song?” You’ve got to listen beyond the melody, hear the emotion, the dynamics, the structure. Professional singers don’t just vibe, they investigate. 4⃣. The Habit of Recording Yourself Ah, this one humbles everybody. You’ll record yourself confidently, then listen back and say, “Wait… is that me or my enemy?” Relax! We have all been there. Even Nathaniel Bassey and Sinach once sounded like baby goats somewhere in their journey. Recording helps you hear what others hear (which is scary but necessary 😅). That’s how you catch the cracks, the flats, and even the magic moments to make your voice sound better. 👉 Tip: Don’t run away from your own voice, it’s your greatest asset. 5⃣. The Habit of Learning from Others Stop forming superstar mentality when you still forget lyrics mid-song and suddenly switch to “tongues,” pretending it’s the Spirit, my friend, we know it’s not a divine revelation, you just forgot the lyrics! Ask questions! Watch others sing. “Hey, how did you do that vocal technique?” “Which breathing technique is that?” Even a 10-year-old can teach you how not to sing off-key💯 Humility will grow your voice faster than pride ever will. The moment you think you’ve “arrived,” your voice will also pack its bags and stop progressing. So start today. Build these👆 habits. Because once you combine anointing + talent + discipline + joy, boom 💥 your voice will start introducing you before you even walk in the room and this is for the glory and honor of God.
