I had session from 11:00-11:53 and Rula classified it at 52 minute session and I had to bill it as 90834. I reached out to Rula about this and they said I should plan to slightly overshoot time with clients so I can bill 90837.

Personally I feel a great solution would be to be able to no show a client at 6 or 7 minutes. That way no risk of resentment and a provider is guaranteed their pay for that session if they complete it to the 53 minute mark. I personally feel waiting around for someone for 15 minutes is far too generous

The only saving grace I have as a Rula therapist is I see clients in person so they can’t micromanage this. I want to get away from them but I can’t get myself to fully figure out how to get credentialed with insurance on my own

I just hit a year with Rula and I can't believe all these changes. I worked for CMH before this too and had less micromanaging. I think you bring up some really good questions!

This is why we NEED TO DIVEST from these companies! Let’s invest in each other, create networks for referrals, teach each other how to market so we get clients in the door. We do not need these third-parties profiting off of our labor and time.

This has gotten crazy, I had a client the other day and when I tried to complete the note it had 7 log on and offs all less than 30 seconds a part and they client never left? My assumption is maybe they were swiping away for a few seconds to check something?

For those of you on Rula, end your contracts now before it gets worse. I was on a platform that started micromanaging and it doesn't get better. I also once asked Rula how long their rate has been what it currently is, and they couldn't give me an answer. That means they're gonna keep that rate the same indefinitely.

Can we also talk about their use of measurements, asking us to click how we used to measurements and then making us elaborate on it? Like first of all, what else do you want from me!! Making me type the same thing I am clicking. Also, I hate that we are quantifying mental health.

Also, I HATED that when Rula implemented this they tried to frame as a way to make things more convenient for providers. Like typing in the session times takes me all of two seconds, this was not about helping me out.

You may have solidified why I need to drop Rula. Their rate is the lowest out of all the platforms I’m on plus the last client that was funneled to me was from a different state. Once I caught it and did my due diligence by contacting all parties (the client and Rula support), another Rula contact emailed me questioning why the intake was cancelled 😵💫

I’m with Grow and I’m running into a lot of issues with them and the tracking times. It disconnected after 15 mins and I can’t bill anything 😭
