I plugged my pencil sharpener into one of those things where you can turn off the outlet. I keep the remote in my pocket and turn that outlet off when I'm teaching. Best Amazon classroom purchase ever ❤️

My pencil sharpener is broken and there’s no top over it that catches all the pencil shavings and they still continue to use it thinking it’s going to sharpen their pencil … and then the pencil shavings get all over the place meanwhile there is an electric sharpener that works right next to it. Make it make sense.

Or drop the stankiest doodoo in the bathroom attached to the classroom. Or fall over and hit their head when they are already sitting down. Yes, I teach Kindergarten 😂

My greatest decision ever was not allowing students to sharpen their own pencils. They have to ask me to do it for them. It cut back on the amount of times pencils are being sharpened, tremendously.
