open spaces is overrated. I don't want to smell food cooking in every part of the house. not do I want to see a kitchen from the living or family space.

It’s beautiful!! But please have things tested for asbestos containing before you do any renovations. The floor tiles are very suspect. I teach asbestos removal and have been doing asbestos work and sampling for 32 years.

Why not just build a box and live that if you are going to tear out all the walls. Who ever decided tearing out walls a good idea it wasn't. walls serve a purpose it also give a house character.
