miller union is waaaaay too expensive for what it actually is—they’re not doing anything special with their whole ingredients except for properly cooking it. dined there last year for a valentine’s prix fixe and paid way too much for a meal that consisted of hummus and crudite for a starter and steak and potatoes for the main course—i will say the hospitality was on point though. and whoever said talat market should’ve won—they stole most of their recipes form andy ricker’s cook book, pok pok lol

Went to Madeira Park for the first time a few weeks ago and everything was done so well. Loved it. Going to be a repeat for cocktails and snacks

Miller Union is a great restaurant. I enjoyed what I ate there. It also is significantly less noteworthy and elevated than any of the starred restaurants I’ve visited. It didn’t even present me with a chef’s tasting menu option and I was left to my own devices to try and do any type of cohesive meal progression. Good food and quality beverage program aren’t enough. I certainly wouldn’t make a special trip for that experience.
