Her words are more so reliant on highlighting that it’s HER fault and that SHE feels bad for HER actions but not so much on “Robert, what I did was wrong and you are valid in how you feel. I acknowledge that and I sincerely apologize.” which would’ve been more of a better approach rather than it coming off as guilt tripping — her words focus too much on her feelings and her guilt rather than prioritizing Robert’s and actually giving him a decent apology — that’s why it seems like she’s guilt tripping.
