Lori DeForest :
Wolf Hall, the entire series was truly one of the best things I ever read. Usually I don’t like film adaptations of books as much, but Mark Rylance was incredible as Thomas Cromwell. Its star started and it is worth watching. The Audible version of the books are also fantastic. If I’m having trouble sleeping, I usually will put them on because the story just sends me off.

so excited for a new episode! I like to have some tea and work on crafts while listening ☺️just curious, will you continue making long form content after you make your way through the timeline? I love the long form content, especially because I don't often find people who discuss these topics of language and literature

I'm excited for episode 3 -- much of my background with literature was 1100-1400, so this is unfamiliar territory. thank you for the tbr and also for breaking things down! makes it easier to get into reading again

oh dear lol. i think you could skip The Other Boleyn Girl… there’s much more accurate historical fiction than Philippa Gregory. the way she portrays Anne, especially, is just absolutely not it. but the Wolf Hall series is amazing!

Plsssss talk about any themes of sustainability you see on utopia by Thomas more. I spend most of uni studying his interrogation of (unknowingstly) sustainability rhetoric. Would love to hear ur thoughts
