Such acts have caused a severe negative impact on Ms. Faye's personal image and reputation, which constitute a serious infringement of Ms. Faye's right of reputation. ​In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China" and the "Law on Public Security Administration Punishments of the People's Republic of China," civil subjects enjoy the right of reputation. No organization or individual may infringe upon others' right of reputation by means of insult, defamation, or other methods. Those who insult, defame, fabricate, and disseminate false statements online that harm others' reputation shall bear civil liabilities such as compensation for damages and public apology; if the circumstances are serious, they shall also bear administrative liabilities such as fines and detention. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China," those who openly insult others by violence or other methods, or defame others by fabricating facts, where the circumstances are serious, shall be sentenced for the crime of insult and the crime of defamation, with fixed-term imprisonment of less than three years, criminal detention, control, or deprivation of political rights. ​To safeguard Ms. Faye's legitimate rights and interests, the Firm is authorized by Ms. Faye to issue the following statement: ​1. Based on the clues provided by Ms. Faye, the Firm has completed the legal evidence collection regarding the information suspected of damaging her reputation and will resolutely use legal means to pursue the liability of the entities that constitute serious infringement. 2. Effective immediately upon the release of this statement, all entities involved in the dissemination of the aforementioned infringing information, including but not limited to the above-mentioned internet users, must immediately cease dissemination and delete the relevant content. Those who refuse to comply shall bear all resulting legal consequences arising therefrom. ​3. The Firm and Ms. Faye will continue to monitor the attitude and actions of the involved entities.
