Heavenly Father, creator of all things and sovereign ruler of the universe, I come before You today with a heart full of hope and humility, holding onto the promise found in Your Word: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans" (Proverbs 16:3). Lord, I acknowledge that all good gifts come from You. My life, my talents, my desires, and even the ability to plan for tomorrow are blessings from Your hand. I confess that too often I rely on my own understanding, my own strength, and my own limited wisdom. I strive and I worry, attempting to control outcomes and orchestrate my future according to my own will. I ask for Your forgiveness for the times I have forgotten that You are the author and the finisher of my faith, and the director of my path. Today, in obedience to Your Word, I choose to commit all my works, my plans, my aspirations, and my very self into Your capable and loving hands. I surrender my need for control and lay my intentions at the foot of the cross. Here are the plans of my heart [pause to reflect on specific plans, goals, and desires]: I commit my career and my daily work to You, Lord. Guide my decisions, give me diligence and integrity, and open doors that are in line with Your purpose for my life. May my work be a reflection of Your glory and a service to others, rather than just a pursuit of personal gain. I commit my relationships to You. Establish my connections with family, friends, and colleagues. Help me to love others as You have loved me, to be a source of encouragement, and to build healthy, God-honoring bonds. I commit my health and well-being to You. Give me the wisdom to care for the body You have given me, and the faith to trust You with my physical and emotional needs. I commit my future, my uncertainties, and my dreams to Your providence. The worries that burden my mind—concerning finances, direction, and purpose—I give them all over to You, trusting that You care for me deeply. Father, as I commit these things to You, I pray that You would fulfill the second part of Your promise: establish my plans. Not necessarily my selfish plans, but the plans that align with Your perfect will. Purify my desires so that they mirror Your own. Give me Your vision, Your heart, and Your mind. When my plans diverge from Your path, I pray that You would graciously redirect me. When I face obstacles or closed doors, help me to remember that Your timing is perfect and Your "no" is as much a blessing as Your "yes." Fill me with the peace that surpasses all understanding, the peace that comes from knowing my life is secure in You. I trust in Your unfailing love and wisdom. May my life be a testimony to Your faithfulness. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.
