I am someone who is capable of loving deeply and giving wholeheartedly but I also know how to protect myself because I love my peace and my mental well being Let’s be honest in the world we live in today it’s extremely difficult to find someone who feels with the same honesty and intensity Love isn’t impossible but it has become rare and I refuse to be the person who tries a thousand times just to reach “true love” while losing myself along the way I don’t want to exhaust my heart or drain my mind only to end up broken carrying traumas that never asked to exist I am not afraid of love I’m simply not willing to learn love through pain andd the one who truly wants me will find me whole not a wounded soul begging to be saved And maybe that’s the difference between the past and the present ,back then love was built on loyalty and honesty but today we first learn how to survive before we dare to love
