i still have his final happy birthday voice mail to me. i recorded his answering machine recording, he died over a holiday, so he’s making a joke, and he sounds happy, and i know he died doing what he loved, but how is it fair that’s all that’s left? the shows we watched together that summer, now almost six years ago, sit in my un watched, where we left off. they will remain, untouched, forever.
