Is it just me (a teenage Brit) who sees this as a good thing? The UK is geographically tiny compared to countries like the US, there’s only so much we can give to others who come here as well as our own people. I’m not saying we should get rid of immigrants I’m just saying there is only so much we can physically give to them as well as our own people. If I’m missing key information please tell me, I’m not trying to be rude or a racist I’m just confused and want to get my facts straight before I form my real opinion.

She stated that even skilled workers may need to wait 10 years to obtain settlement. This is extremely unreasonable and deeply unfair. If such policies remain in place, the country will struggle to attract legal immigrants, as international students would see no viable career prospects or long-term opportunities here. Considering the high fees they pay to universities, it is understandable that they would question coming to this country if their future is so uncertain.
