I remember folks being shocked that I only had 1 kid, yes kids cost money and I struggled with 1 why would I make life harder by having more children 😒

As a mother who had her child at 18 and received government assistance until I graduated from nursing school. I agree, teenagers shouldn’t have children and my son who now has a masters degree and is living his best life now, I did him a huge disservice by being young and choosing the wrong man to be his dad.

I totally agree!!!! I did not have any kids in my 20s because I was broke!!! I had my only child at 38 and stopped because having children are a big responsibility and it is a lifelong obligation.

my mom had her first at 15, her third by 19. lost custody of us one after the other. many years later had a fourth and eventually lost custody of him as well. bc we are the result of these women we know it's wrong. they set us up for failure.

Teenage moms who did there best and got it from the mud and fought to be successful WE AGREE!!!! When only the strong survive. The ones who were young moms n had to WORK and don't get govt assistance we seriously agree. DONT DO IT !!!

As a 29 y/o who had her kid at 24 on foodstamps, low income housing and food stamps, ON UNEMPLOYMENT…. I am not having any more kids. I now dont need any of the assistance and I am glad my life changed before she got older. I am now aware I ccould not afford a kid back then and now I can only afford the one I have. We take vacations, been to disney 3 times, we dont have a house yet, we live in an apartment but we will be there not too far from now. People need to realize having a kid is a big responsability and stop having kids just because they want a “baby”

I’m a product of a teenage mother. She disrespected me my entire life because she was emotionally immature and hated my existence. When I showed her an ounce of the disrespect she gave me 7 years ago bc I was over her antics, she got offended and gave me the silent treatment. 7 years later she still doesn’t speak to me and my life is peaceful. Just bc they are your family doesn’t mean you have to tolerate them!
