Plastic 100% the metal one is too loud and sharp, it would probably be good for actual dogs or longer distances but being up close to the mic hurt my ears

plastic is the goat, I actually had a metal one from a WW2 museum years ago (yes it's originally a war thing) but I switched to plastic asap once I got into clicker training :3
