yeah, and how well did that work out for him when all he wanted to do was be in the main event? this way is better. there's 4 world titles, and he can't always be main events. why should he always main event and not Steph and Jade when theyre also a champions? cause he sells the most merch? if that were the case Jey should be champ and always main event.

what do people expect. tko is run by greed but also one head of the table is dana white who hates wrestling and doesn't pay big in ufc and if u ask u get dropped. tko is killing wwe and I feel triple h is just the punching bag for the company and can't do what he wants

Incentives like that pushed wrestlers to fight for main-event status to help boost the company's image. That’s exactly what Jesse Ventura was aiming for back then with his push for unionization. And it still makes sense today, the business is at the peak of wrestling entertainment, then paying wrestlers fairly is more important than ever.💰💰💰

Btw there’s been salary pay for a while. What punk doesn’t bring up and idk why but when they had ppv they would get bonuses. Obviously if you were in the main event the pay was awesome. So guys like Punk and Cena would make big salaries on top of those ppv bonuses. Punk is acting like it’s 1987 and you got paid based the house and stuff like that. Punk said in the colt cabana pod when he left wwe a lot of guys were pissed that they were gonna stop doing ppvs and go on the wwe network
