Can attach a burley feeder float instead of a sinker to end of Sabiki rig to keep the hooks closer to the surface almost like a mini surface longline.

fisherman supply berley is my go to now. I just bought another couple of logs of the berley, abd a bottle of the fish oil. fantastic stuff and it really brings the fish in. ive used it toattract moki, trevally, and Jack mackerel in welly harbour. I use a bait feeder cage when I'm using berley on a sabiki. it's a small cage that you clip to your sabiki, and stuff it full of berley. give it a few shakes and the berley distributes itself in a cloud around your sabiki. they're cheap on temu.

Decent Piper! I've seen a few good schools out on the whangaparoa peninsula if you're ever out there- try the cliff walk down from Duncansby road lookout, seem to swarm off the rocks there
