Alforno is the best on the island. Only place I have found actual Italian pepperoni. That was their Chili honey....so good.

Try eating a "picado" at the Beer Garden restaurant or Sete Mares in Câmara de Lobos. It's very good, typical of Madeira. The bolo do caco at Sete Mares is incredible. Another restaurant that is very good on the island of Madeira is Abrigo do Pastor, which is also very good.
