Having arrived in Laos on 17 November, the princess will remain in the country until 22 November. Her visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Laos, as well as the 60th anniversary of the arrival of the first Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) volunteers.
