the hypothesis that a soul exists is nowhere near an ad absurdium collapse in logic. we do not need to assume the soul exists. we do have to acknowledge we exist in reality and not a simulation, we do not need to assume math works, logic works or laws of physics work, we definitely do not need to assume a soul, or creator. why don't we need to assume math or logic or physics? because we base those things off of observation of our reality they are descriptive of reality not assumed. Jewish tradition or cooking still in no way indicate we have a soul or that consciousness is anything but an imergent property of the brain.
