Our Master Shot at @wanderingfilmschool for the @limunati_ music video! Their song is called “Shadows” so our students had this incredible idea to have this performance shot of the band, but instead of shooting them, we’re shooting their shadows. You can see our @REDDigitalCinema V-Raptor on a Hi-Hat on the ground, framed up in a way where all the shadows fill the frame. We used a @dzofilm 25mm Vespid Prime for this. To create the actual shadows and the perfect circle on the wall, we used an @Aputure.Europe Spotlight Max. The Spotlight Max is a Leko attachment for our @aputure.lighting 600c. It basically turns the 600c into a Source 4 theatrical light and allows us to cut and shape the light in many different ways. It’s like having a grip inside a light! The Spotlight Max worked perfectly in this scenario to get clean shadows and a nice sharp circle around the band. Add some Haze and you have a beautiful shot!
