this actually is a brilliant critical analysis of the entire plot of Wicked! Like I know it’s a joke but YES! the story is about how a women is maligned and ostracized entirely on the basis of her skin color and another talentless woman is given power purely based on optics. Yes! That’s Wicked!

read the book! it does a much better job at highlighting the racial complexities that the movie doesn’t touch on as deeply as it could. the musical, compared to the novel, is incredibly tame and sanitized.
