Mamdani ASKED for this. This was a power move and he nailed it. Before the election Trump was saying if Mamdani won he'd tear New York down to get rid of him. Mamdani basically said "say it to my face then" and Trump backed down 😂

Real talk, I think Mamdani treated him like a New Yorker. Don't like the president, not like a billionaire, but like a New Yorker. And I think Trump was absolutely tickled by that. Trump even said that he'd be comfortable staying in New York which is insane because every right wing everybody has been saying that billionaires would be pulling out in droves. And here Trump is saying that they don't have to go, which has the effect of keeping billionaires in the city, funding the plans Mamdani has!
