The entire world 5 should've just been scrapped from the game. There is literally not a single good thing about it. The bosses are dogshit, the enemies are dogshit (it's literally just 1 guy copypasted like 200 times throughout the level, there's no enemy variety whatsoever), the aesthetic is dogshit (you can't even see anything for 80% of the time because it's super dark) and it's also shit from a level design standpoint considering most of the level requires you to walk through the poison swamp. It's literally just a way longer but way shittier version of Blighttown, it's genuinely the worst area Fromsoft has ever designed in all of their games and it's not even close.

I feel like they just tried to use the dark souls formula too soon. Demon Souls is too clunky and old school. I really enjoyed the dreariness of the game though. Especially with the remaster.
