AN OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY,
THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KANO STATE
Your Excellency,
With utmost respect and humility, we the affected applicants wish to draw your kind attention to an important matter concerning our recruitment into the Kano State Internal Revenue Service (KIRS).
During the tenure of the former Chairman of KIRS, Alhaji Sani Abdulkadir Dambo, we were duly screened, recruited, and officially invited to come forward and collect our appointment letters. At that time, we were informed that the distribution of the letters would be done in your esteemed presence. Unfortunately, shortly before the scheduled ceremony, we were told that Your Excellency was unavailable, and for that reason the board suspended the issuance of the appointment letters until further notice.
Since then, we have been patiently waiting, believing in the fairness, transparency, and justice that your administration is known for. However, to our greatest concern, we recently received reports that the board is secretly recruiting other individuals, some allegedly being sent from the Government House, while our own long-awaited appointment letters remain pending.
Your Excellency, many of us left our previous engagements in good faith after successfully passing through the recruitment processes. We invested our time, resources, and hope with the belief that the government would honor its commitment. We therefore appeal to you to kindly intervene in this matter, verify the situation, and ensure fairness is upheld.
We remain loyal citizens who strongly believe in your leadership and the principles of justice that your administration stands for. We humbly request your timely action so that the rightful recruits can receive their appointment letters and resume their duties in service to our beloved state.
May Allah guide, strengthen, and bless your leadership.
Thank you, Your Excellency.
