An when you’re moving into your bleed, your body is asking for minerals, warmth, and nourishment. this isn’t just comfort food - it’s a way to prepare your system for release. - collard greens are rich in iron, calcium, and magnesium they help replenish minerals lost during menstruation and support muscle relaxation. - cannellini + garbanzo beans bring grounding energy, plant protein, and slow carbs to stabilize blood sugar and support your mood. Ingredients: • 1 large bunch collard greens • 1 can cannellini beans (400g) • 1 can garbanzo beans (400g) • ½ white onion, diced • 4 cloves garlic, minced • 1 red chilli (optional) • 1 lemon (zest + juice) • 1 heaped tbsp burrata (or mozzarella/ricotta) • Red pepper flakes • Olive oil • Salt + pepper How to make it: 1. Sauté onion in olive oil until soft. 2. Blanch collard greens in hot water for 20 mins, then cool in ice water to keep color. 3. Blend greens with olive oil, salt, and a splash of water until smooth. 4. Add garlic + chilli to onions, cook a minute, then stir in both beans with some of their brine. 5. Pour in the blended greens, season, and simmer 5–10 mins. 6. Finish with burrata, lemon zest + juice, red pepper flakes, and olive oil. eat it warm & with some nice sourdough ✨🫶🏼
