Just an inch was separating him from landing on the ground or having his spine shattered. Alan got lucky. The mastermind expressed dissatisfaction. Another run. The writer was in a dead end. Another supersonic boom. He was thrown flying between gaps between walls. It was perfect luck. Almost too perfect. As if something otherworldly was aiding him. But alas, he was still in a dead end. And with a loud scream, Alan would suffer his demise.
