This might not directly relate with the video but did you know that in the book of Acts, every single time someone was baptized, it was in the name of Jesus Christ? (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5).
Jesus said the gospel would begin at Jerusalem (Luke 24:47), and that’s exactly where it started. Peter, the one given the keys to the kingdom (Matt. 16:19), preached the very first salvation message:
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins” (Acts 2:38).
Notice that he specifically used the name of Jesus. This actually fulfills what Jesus said in Matthew 28:19–20, because the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is Jesus.
Paul later wrote, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). And when Paul himself was converted, he was told: “Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord” (Acts 22:16).
So how do we “call on His name”? The book of Acts shows us the pattern: repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and receiving the Holy Ghost. That’s how the early church applied the gospel and it’s still for us today.
