For decades, society has pushed the idea that only women have a "biological clock." That women must race against time, while men stay fertile forever. But new research paints a very different picture. Studies show that as men age, sperm volume, motility, and morphology decline significantly, while DNA fragmentation (DFI) increases. These changes often begin as early as the mid-30s and continue over time. Research also links advanced paternal age to higher risks of miscarriage, longer time to conception, and health concerns for children, including autism and psychiatric disorders. At the same time, tests often used to pressure women - like the AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) test - are not reliable predictors of fertility. Women may have more reproductive flexibility than they've been told for years. * So the narrative that only women carry the weight of the biological clock is outdated and misleading. The truth is: men also have a biological clock - and it impacts fertility, pregnancy outcomes, and future generations. This matters because the old story has been used to control and pressure women, while men's role in fertility decline was ignored. #fyp #feminism #womenempowerment #womensrights #biology
