I love this, especially the part about healing/growth isn't linear but the passage of time gives distance and different perspectives. 🤔🤔🤔 It's something to think about in my own life

yeah like the divorce was finalised THIS MONTH (November). She should have posted the videos and then travelled more and done a cute Eat, Pray, Love with her friends or other loved ones.

I’m not saying someone should be groveling and boohooing and I realize she’s a fairly sunny person with a bubbly disposition I find enjoyable but the chuckling and smiling while sharing a story where someone was disrespectful toward her, her family, her friends, stole from them, and violated their trust? It was a little off putting and as a fellow Nigerian American girl, I’m genuinely shocked she would share any of this. We are very private people.

also just to add. tik tok / social media as well as the nature in which we use these apps is not like normal? like between financial incentives. social media incentives [ her travelling business? her recent financial situation etc] like all of these things have contributed in some capacity to why shes posted it a blur night after her divorced herr

Agreed. It was wayyyy too soon, and not from a place of bashing her, but more from a place of sadness. There is so much growth and healing that we could tell wasn’t there yet, and this “ending” literally 2 weeks ago is definitely not it.
