People don't know but someone wrote into the avs broadcast and made up that saying and told him to say it if they scored so the announcer decided to do it. the whole thing was discussed early in the game. they even made fun of him for going through with it.

As a Hawks fan, the teams trash, Bedard is completely over rated, kid takes the same shots has the worst attitude and I’ve seen him loose an edge and go sliding around more than another player I’ve watched
