If some of you dont know how heavy duty trucks brakes operate, let me teach you.Heavy trucks typically use air brakes, which inherently have a delay. It takes time approximately 4/10 seconds in a properly maintained system for the compressed air to travel from the brake pedal (treadle valve) through the lines to the brake chambers at the wheels and thats why that brother ours told you as sinotruck drivers always leave ample space from the front vehicle.
