@elevate.withnahida: You don’t fall off every 2 weeks bc you’re lazy, broken or not meant for it. You fall off bc you’re body can’t push anymore. And bc you think running on “go go go” energy and adrenaline and cortisol is your normal. You think that’s how you get big life changes you never had before. But the reality is, your body will always slam on brakes. You’ll fall off, binge & cope until you feel enough shame to get up and replan and go again. This is a cycle. A survival cycle. You do this bc you haven’t gotten out survival yet even though your environment has changed and your past is behind you. When you rewire your mind out of survival and gain trust with your body again that you won’t push it anymore with strict ass diets, plan and strategies that YOU hate and are only doing bc you want an outcome. Thats when the cycle will break and you’ll build REAL consistent and momentum to your goals without burning out and feeling suffocated and miserable in the process. You cannot learn and discipline your way out survival. It needs to be rewired inwards first. When you’re ready to stop sabotaging yourself and break out this cycle so you can finally have and become the verison of you you knew you were meant to become after all that bs you’ve gone through. I could not sleep for years.. never felt rested. Come to find out.. High cortisol was WRECKING my nightly sleep/recovery.. once I started supplementing at night.. I started actually deep sleeping. Waking up rested.. sleeping solid and only needing 7-8hrs. It has truly helped me in recovering from my trauma. Sleep deprivation is real and damaging. Just a fyi ✨

Perioddddd I’ve slowed down and found out have more time than I think. Also taking time to pause and reflect on what I really truly want and actually make the steps towards that instead of all of these things that I wanna accomplish that aren’t truly aligning or it is just busy work.

You cannot use normal manifestation techniques if you have CPTSD. You need years of fragment reclaiming, such a massive bubble of compassion (that we were never ever taught to have for OURSELVES), understand your capacity and actually stay within it. It’s really hard to hold and balance this all when you have an unstable and fragmented psyche.

👑 And it’s like a process of elimination. Maybe the relationship goes first & you heal but are still at the bs job.. then it has to go and healing starts and then it’s the next thing. But self care routines help stabilize the fight/flight to navigate the dips easier (it’s still tough, but more manageable).
