Camping while tired 🇨🇦 :
My husband went to a walk in at 3 pm today and was home by 4:30 pm with a seized up back. Doctor examined him, prescribed pain meds and a muscle relaxer along with sending him for an X-ray just to make sure everything is okay- we live in Calgary and we have a family Doctor after moving here a year ago. I would NEVER want an American system!

I lucked out hard when I got my family doctor. Had a family case worker who happened to have a client that never did the intake, so I got in.

Lucky you got to see a doctor. Lol. Walk in clinics don’t exist in BC anymore, you need to line up at opening and wait all day and hope someone sees you.

This is half fact. Wife and I have the same doctor. She went in and said she had bronchitis (gets it every year) and asked for an inhaler. He said no and gave her pills, and told her to lose weight. I went in with influenza and a tooth infection. Told him I need amoxicillin and an inhaler and he was just like, no problem. Doctors are pretty sexist
