You are reading correct. GOD commanded Adam not to eat from the tree. Sin entered the world not because of Eve but because Adam ate the fruit. Eve was deceived by the serpent. Adam knew better but still ate of it.

So in Islam, the story of Adam and Eve is a bit different from the Christian version. Muslims believe God warned both Adam and Eve directly, so Eve wasn’t left unaware or confused. Islam also doesn’t teach that Eve came from Adam’s rib; instead, she was created from the same soul as Adam, meaning they were equals and partners, not one made from the other. The Qur’an says Satan tempted both of them, and they both made a mistake. But instead of focusing on blame, Islam emphasizes that God forgave them after they repented. Adam was supposed to lead her. That’s the tea behind men supposed to be leaders today. The man is supposed to be the head of household and inform/protect his wife. Satan (the serpent) saw her as the weak point because Adam was not leading her, so she stumbled and led Adam into sin with her. This is why it’s important for men to protect their wives and families. Satan and demons will attack the weakest points in you and the ones you love.❤️

Genesis chapter 3 verse 3 suggests Adam filled her in on the tea once she got there. Satan (as the snake) asked her if the rumor was legit. She said “ya bro that’s what God said” and the snake (still satan) gaslit her

In Genesis 3:2, Eve told the serpent they were not supposed to eat from that tree, so she was aware of the command.. but in verse 6 we see that Adam was with her and ate it with her. He then in verse 12 he tries to blame Eve for it 😂 God holds Adam responsible (Romans 5:12) because He is the “head of the household”. Eve was a “suitable helper” for Adam, but Adam was supposed to lead Eve, and should have advised her not to eat it. Love Bible studies with Leo 😂

In the Qur’an, Allah says “and do not approach this tree” using the dual form in Arabic — "لا تقربا", which means “both of you do not approach”. This shows clearly that the command was directed to Adam and Eve together, not to Adam alone.🤍✨
