The Best Tips for Flying Solo with Kids | Part 2: Check out part 1 if you missed it, & share your tips in the comments! Stay tuned for the final part 3. ✈️ Wear a small Fanny pack/cross body bag to stick your boarding passes, passports, & phone in. I didn’t do this at first but made it so much easier to check them passes (which I do about 700 times to make sure I have it right) & pull them out when you need too, even with full hands. It’s small enough you can stick in your “personal item” bag when boarding if they ask. ✈️ You can get help going through security with ‘TSA Cares’. Request help up to 72 hrs before your flights. Also helpful for individuals with medical conditions or disabilities. ✈️ Avoid carrying big bulky boosters or car seats by getting a travel one. You can also rent car seats at your destination. ✈️ Pack a baggy lunch (we love Uncrustables & apple slices) and LOTS of snacks. Don’t forget to include treats and hand wipes. ✈️ Know it might be a little rough but you’ve can do it. Don’t worry about bothering others or let them get to you. I even avoided eye contact with passengers as we boarded our flight so I didn’t stress. But the majority of people are super nice and helpful! 🤗 . . #flyingwithkids #travelfamily #familieswhotravel #flyingtips #traveltips #kidswhotravel #travelsafety #adventurefamily #toddlerhacks #babyhacks #travelingwithkids #travelingsolo #solotraveling #airports #flyinghacks
