most cats don't like car rides because cats are very motion sensitive. that's also one of the reasons why some cats don't like being carried.

For those commenting he needs to be in a carrier. He was in one. I took him out for a brief second to see if maybe it was the carrier that he hated clearly there was no difference. He acted the same in the carrier. He hates the car I immediately put him back in after this video. I now have medication to give him for future vet visits. And no, I don’t take him in the car for fun. I only take him when he has to go to the vet.

vet tech here: a kennel can make them feel safe and secure because they have a place to hide- plus it keeps you safe while you drive. if they're still stressed, your vet can prescribe a mild sedative to give before stressful events

hey, I would recommend putting him in a crate because that’s 1. dangerous if you get in an accident and 2. it’s better for him to be in an enclosed space
