STOP MOTION HAIRCOLOR TUTORIAL • TECHNICAL GUIDE FACE FRAME Isolate the face frame with a 2-finger ✌️ section temple to fringe are. Elevate diagonal down and paint with a flat brush(I like a big one). First paint down to wet section join together. Then push up to root with flat brush or finger • FRINGE Take fringe into two triangles and tease the bottom of section to elevate off the face. I did it extreme for understanding but you could focus on just the base. Paint the middle of section, first then pull down to ends and push up to base. Push it all the way the the root on all side of these triangles for total coverage. Keep saturation even but not too thick as to soak through. Some places I got too much, but it was shooting in stop motion and it’s harder than you think. • BACK / NAPE Taking V section that stop at center back, elevate diagonally out the side and paint middle first, pull down then push up. Taking smaller sections will increase the blonde. • CROWN/ HIGH POINT Isolate a triangle at the highest point of the head, tease vertically and paint the front/top of the section. I Left the underside dry, but you could paint all the way around, just separate with a mesh or film. • How you feeling about color content? Am I good for it?
