I absolutely agree that if you can't support children you should not have them, and I don't know that young girls story, but let's not ignore that ANY ONE OF US is one lost job, one accident, one divorce or loss of spouse, away from losing everything and unfortunately kids could be affected.

You can go from affording kids who thrive to poor with one big illness, car accident, lost job. Sometimes the medical catastrophe is a child getting cancer, a child with special needs. Most bankruptcies are from medical debt.
