and fun fact, mini paints also work GREAT for detailed nail art. Obviously not as the base color but for designs on top they work super well, I use them all the time.

yes! my dad’s hobby was building and painting miniature airplanes and he also always did my mum‘s nails when I was little! (they‘re both fine, my dad just doesn‘t like that hobby anymore and my mum rarely wears nail polish anymore)

This actually reminds me of my dad. Back when he was in his teens/early 20s, he'd go to markets and paint elaborate nails, like mini forests and such. Said it was practice for holding hand with women

Get a gel nail kit!! He could do so much more he might really get into it! Tons of artists use UV cure resin & polish to make all kinds of tiny things so it might also improve his craft!!

as someone who paints both minis and nails, this is very true. my brother paints in Warhammer competions, I remember giving him my flash cure lamp so her could use it to "flash weld". we had a good laugh about it
