Hi Toyota advisor here. There is a service bulletin for updated front pads and shims to remedy this. Covered by warranty, parts are on back order so I’d call your local dealer ahead of time

Have the same issue on my Buick Enclave. Was also told that’s what the new pads sound like when first start driving. 20k km on it now and still does it.

It’s a known problem. Pads are currently on back order. Chill it’s noisy pads. They are being replaced for free

Toyota brakes, in reverse, have been making noise for decades!!! We just accept it, because toyotas are so dam reliable and durable… who cares about a random brake noise🤣🤣👍
